Maeve Robinson is a thirty-two-year-old widowed socialite, a favor-broker among her set, and a minor member of the idle rich through her late husband's family. As extremely involved in the social scene in London for her class, she knows most people from their doing each other mutual social favors from small to large. She enjoys people's company, though she prefers to cultivate a cat-like aloofness and would never actually say so. Also, Maeve is a massive busybody (knowledge is, after all, power), and very much a hedonist, though she buttons herself down just enough to navigate 1920s London without entirely ruining her reputation.

Maeve's shortbio: Originally from a prominent German-American family, the Beckers, who made their fortune in the 1880s in Colorado's Silver Boom and who currently own a portion of Denver. Married Henry Robinson and had two kids, Theodosia (10) and Eleanor (6), who are mostly not raised by Maeve herself. Maeve's controlling, self-confident, practical, confrontational, an adrenaline-junkie, and exactly zero-percent shy of throwing her weight around socially (likely to everyone's horror).

It's been a while since she's been among her fam, so her German is rusty, and she's only versed in hunting because it's what Ladies Do. :D Charm and Listen to round out her society skills with things she learned growin' up in an entirely different locality, Drive Auto because she wouldn't have been able to exist in Colorado without knowing how to handle snow and ice, and Geology because the Family Business used to be mining (...and now it's real estate, which geology also helps) and she picked up a bit of education in it just in case.
